Louise Goldin for Topshop 2010 Spring
Tags: Louise Goldin, shoes, Topshop

As part of a This Week’s Wants from November, I showed you the shoes Louise Goldin designed for Topshop. It seems the finished product is slighty toned down from the initial images. It appears there are less studs and spikes on these shoes. Either way, if you ask me they’re definitely worth grabbing a pair or two when their release March 1st.

Jimmy Choo 2010 Spring/Summer Looks

Posing for Jimmy Choo’s 2010 Spring/Summer ads is Angela Lindvall. The attitude for Spring/Summer traces the foundations of the brand with a reinvigorated insistence on line and sculpture, intricate materials and strong bursts of light and colour. The photos were taken by Terry Richardson.

Christian Louboutin 2010 Spring/Summer

Christian Louboutin has once again designed an exciting collection for next year using a variety of colours and materials. It seems that lately studs have been of much interest to the shoe designer and he used them rather liberally when designing the Spring/Summer line. I do however love the high heel version seen above, and I’d love the ballet shoe if it weren’t for that loud and obnoxious bow.

Air Jordan VIII Purple Stilettos

Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Jordans, and high heels, but putting the two together just doesn’t seem right one bit.

Jean Paul Gaultier x melissa ‘10 Spring
Tags: Jean Paul Gaultier, melissa, shoes

One of the first to collaborate with melissa back in 1982 was Jean Paul Gaultier. Since then, a whole slew of designers have worked together with the Brazilian plastic shoe manufacturer including Thierry Mugler, Patrick Cox, Karim Rashid, Alexandre Herchcovitch, Campana Brothers, Vivienne Westwood and Zaha Hadid. For their 2010 Spring collection, melissa has returned to their roots, and teamed up with Jean Paul Gaultier once again on these yellow high heels.

Vivienne Westwood + Melissa ‘Lady Dragon’ 2010 Spring

I absolutely love Lady Dragons and I’ve been planning for a while to get a pair for myself even though I’m not really big on high heels.
“The Melissa & Vivienne Westwood Anglomania Lady Dragon is one of the most iconic shoes of the past 10 years. Crafted in Brazil of natural and sustainable rubber, these extremely sexy and bold shoes are beloved by the likes of Katy Perry, Natalie Portman, Sarah Silverman, and Katie Holmes.”
Looking at these latest styles, I think I might have to finally purchase a pair next Spring. They’re available exclusively through Epaulet for $149.

Insa Heels ‘09 Fall/Winter
Tags: Insa, Insa Heels, shoes

Following up on our news from last week, we bring you the full Fall/Winter line-up from Insa Heels. Insa hooked up with Ruth Shaw to design the shoes, and they came up with a total of three models: the Miami, which is the most colourful, but is probably the one I like the least out of the three. Second is the Stand Alone, which is my favourite thanks to its chrome “legs”, and lastly they offer the Throwette, which is most characterized by a small platform. Unfortunately, the pre-orders have already sold out, so good luck finding yourself a pair.

This week I am dying for this set of Bandage high heels from Christian Louboutin. They also come in black, but I’d go with these ones instead.
