If we mentioned Karl earlier today, we have to tell you about the latest Chanel show put together for their 2010 Spring/Summer collection. Leave it up to Karl to to something from way out of left field. I won’t go into much detail, but make sure to check out the video below. You won’t be disappointed:)

As we reported back in May, Lily Allen stars in the new ads for Chanel’s bags. Many dared to question the genius of Karl, and presumed this time he would fail miserably. Now we finally get a look at some final images, and we couldn’t imagine they’d turn out this well. Lily looks great!

Here we get a look at some more images from Chanel’s ‘09/’10 Fall/Winter campaign. The models are the same as last time: Heidi Mount and Freja Beha Erichsen, with King Karl behind the lens.

Repping Chanel’s upcoming Fall/Winter collection is Heidi Mount. Cameoing in the photos is Freja Beha too. And can you guess who the photographer is? Yes, Mr. Karl himself.

We’ve already seen one of the trailers from the new Coco Chanel biopic starring Audrey Tautou, and now we bring you another one. This is a must see. I can’t wait to watch it!

Chanel have turned to Russian model Sasha Pivovarova to model the Autumn Paris-Moscow collection. And who by the way shot the ad campaign? Mr. Karl himself at the Russian Embassy in Paris.

…I hope not. Not yet anyway. But if you think about it, it might be time to retire. He is 75 after all, and there might be some truth to all the gossip going around, which has been sounding like something straight out of a soap opera. Supposedly, Karl hasn’t renewed his contract with Chanel, and taking his place would be Lanvin’s designer, Alber Elbaz. Filling up the gap Elbaz leaves behind is ex-Nina Ricci designer, Olivier Theyskins. If this is true, new blood at Chanel might be great, new and exciting things. Same goes for Lanvin. But what happens with Karl? Will he quietly retire, or take up his second passion and join the show business? Time will tell.

Chanel have just released their latest ad for their iconic No. 5 fragrance. Nicole Kidman has been replaced by Audrey Tatou, which is pretty obvious seeing that the French actress plays Coco Chanel in the upcoming biopic. The ad is awesome taking place on the Orient Express, where a boy and a girl meet. The happy ending comes very soon:)

I think it’s safe to say that Lily Allen is addicted to Chanel. She’s always sitting in the front row of Chanel shows wearing at least one Chanel piece (more often that not, a bag). So you can be sure she was ecstatic beyond measure when she was asked to be their new face for their bag campaign. Great news for Lily. You go girl!:)
