Angelina Jolie stars in Louis Vuitton’s upcoming ‘Core Values’ campaign. Jolie brought four of her children to the shoot which was lensed by Annie Leibovitz in Cambodia (how exotic). The actress wore her own clothes, and of course posed alongside some LV. So far this is the first image released from the campaign, but expect an interview with Jolie to be published on Wednesday at louisvuittonjourneys.com/cambodia

Following up on their first collaboration, Hellz and Vans once again team up to design another pack of sneakers. This time they workd on the new ‘Paityn Creepers’ and ‘Bailie Boots’. However, they also added two bags to the pack. We’ve yet to receive an official release date but most likely it will sometime in August. Stay tuned for more details.

What will you be doing this long weekend?
I’ll be down at Lake Balaton with friends staring at the water, and checking out the regatta. Hopefully I’ll get some rest.

What item of clothing could you not be without during a vacation on the Caribbean Islands?
Hmm… I’m not really one for Caribbean vacations. I more of a big city person. I only saw the first part of Pirates of the Caribbean, but when I do have to hit the seaside I can never go without a bikini and beach towel.

When did you hit the beach last?
Six years ago… A long time ago… I was in Barcelona for a month. I think it might be another 2-3 years before I go again…

Which concert will you definitely be attending this Summer?
Unfortunately, I missed the IAMX show, even though I was really looking forward to it. Next time… Hopefully though I’ll be checking out Apey, Depeche Mode, and Stereolab. I will be at the Sziget festival for Marina and the Diamonds, Amy Winehouse and Interpol.

What kind of guys make you do a double-take?

How do you manage to handle work and fun?
I’m lucky to say that my jobs (Gant + costume design) are fun. Especially at night, cause I work with my friends, but I should find the time to really let loose, which is getting harder and harder, but I’m trying.

Along with the collaboration with M.A.C we reported on recently, Gareth Pugh also teamed up with melissa to design a some new shoes for next Spring. The first model they worked on is called the Ultra, which wil be available in several colourways. The other model is still under production, but we do know that it was inspired by Pugh’s first Paris show.

This Fall, Gareth Pugh teams up with MAC for a new collection. Although not much has been revealed about the collection yet, but what we do know is that it drops worldwide this November. Can’t wait!

Following up on the success of their Spring collaboration, Converse once again joins forces with Marimekko. The models they designed this time around are new Chuck Taylors and Jack Purcells. The pack released June 23rd.

Sasha Pivovarova is featured in a vintage Madonna-esque editorial in the June-July issue of Vogue Paris. Shot in the streets of New York by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, Pivovarova wears Dries Van Noten, Yves Saint Laurent, and Marc Jacobs.
