Chanel have just released their latest ad for their iconic No. 5 fragrance. Nicole Kidman has been replaced by Audrey Tatou, which is pretty obvious seeing that the French actress plays Coco Chanel in the upcoming biopic. The ad is awesome taking place on the Orient Express, where a boy and a girl meet. The happy ending comes very soon:)

We’ve already showed you the ad, and yesterday I got a chance to see it (and smell it) in person. If you have yet to try it, give yourself some olfactory pleasure and head down to your local perfumery. It’s fantastic.

swarovski stars Bond No. 9 x Swarovski Stars

Bond No. 9 have taken three of their most popular fragrances, Bryant Park, Bleecker Street, and Nuits de Noho and have gotten together with Swarovski to give their bottles a face lift. The bottles are covered with thousands of little crystals, each bottle a different colour. They turned out great, but Swarovski crystals are not cheap. The 50ml bottles go for $650.

They also created Swarovski Stars Bon Bons, which is a pack of 4 fragrances (the three already mentioned plus Eau de New York) each coming in 6ml bottles, which will sell for $700. The perfumes will be out just in time for Mother’s Day. Great gift idea if you have 700 bucks lying around your apartment. If you do, you’ll be able to purchase the fragrances at Bond No. 9’s website, and at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Which Perfume to Choose?

douglas Which Perfume to Choose?

I am looking for a new perfume. I didn’t think I’d be having such a tough time though. I’ve never been too attached to any perfume. On one hand it’s great because I like variety, but on the other hand, it sucks not having a scent to call your own. But now I’m lost in a myriad of scents and fragrances. As you can see from the photo above, I spent some time at a shop earlier spraying samples onto bits of papers and jotting down which is which. I’ve narrowed it down to a few, but if any of you have a perfume you’d like to suggest, I’d love to hear from you. Drop a line to juicy@mashkulture.net, and maybe you’ll help end this predicament once and for all:)
