Mario Testino opened a new exhibit at London’s Phillips de Pury paying homage to his muse, Kate Moss. The two have worked together countless times, and the exhibit showcases 18 huge posters of the supermodel, some of which are available for purchase.

Going a new route, this year’s CFDA Journal doesn’t feature the usual models wearing the nominees designs. The actual designers sport their own creations. Marc Jacobs, for example, is shown wearing the all too familiar Louis Vuitton bunny ears. Jason Wu wears his gorgeous emerald green evening gown.

Just yesterday I mentioned how those Fafinettes creeped me out. Well, it happened again. This time it’s these dolls by Viktor & Rolf. Here’s the story: The Barbican Art Gallery in London will be exhibiting the past 15 seasons of Viktor & Rolf’s collections. Dubbed, “The House of Viktor & Rolf”, the exhibit will not only display the actual garments, but will feature each piece on 55 miniature dolls using the exact same material, patterns, etc… There will even be a mini runway. Scary stuff if you ask me.

Peter Gronquist is a 29 year old painter, who creates some fashionable machine guns (does that even make sense?) using designer logos to cover the weapons. Items you’ll find in his portfolio range from a Versace AK-47, to a Chanel RPG, and he has gone even as far as creating a Louis Vuitton electric chair, and more. If you’re in the Los Angeles area, you can check out his creations at Gallery 1988.

I guess I’ve been in the dark for a while now. It turns out Liz Hurley has been designing her own line of swimwear for three years now under the Elizabeth Hurley Beach (it’s a sad excuse for a website) brand. For the summer, Mango enlisted the actress/designer to create a few pieces, that were no doubt advertised by her. Can you believe she’s 42? She looks great, but she’s no match for Stacey Dash who also happens to be 42. (Have you seen the new cover of KING? Daaamn!)

Trendhecc is a series of exhibits taking place at 19 locations throughout Budapest from March 6th until the 16th. What sets it apart from other art festivals is that most exhibits are not held in galleries but in clubs, boutiques, coffee shops, etc…
We ended up checking out Blik’s and Drez’s exhibit at the Carhartt Store. You can find images over on the main page.
For a list of events and exhibit’s, click over to the Trendhecc site.
