Following 2009’s The Sartorialist, Scott Schuman returns this month with a new 512-page book, The Sartorialist: Closer, which will release in two paperback covers (male and female) and also a deluxe edition hardcover boxset featuring a slipcover,  and colored endpapers. Each deluxe volume of The Sartorialist: Closer is individually numbered and features street photography from Japan, Korea, London, Milan, New York, Paris, and other cities. Get it at Amazon for $137 when it releases August 29th.

Tavi Gevinson has decided to take her blog and publish it in a new book titled Rookie Yearbook One. The young blogger states: Rookie Yearbook One is basically a pretty (soooo pretty), tangible (totally tangible!) version of the best of the best of Rookie’s content from the school year, starting in September 2011 and ending in May 2012, plus a few extra goodies, including a paper crown by Meadham Kirchhoff, a 45″ flexi-disc, and more previously unseen contributions from Rookie friends”.

It’s published by Drawn & Quarterly and will be on sale in September through Rookie for $29.95.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of Francois Nars’ company, and to celebrate, NARS will be releasing a special book combining makeup and photography. Titled, “15×15″, the book showcases portraits of celebrities, fashion designers and the like, and transforms itssubjects into new personas. Two inspirations were given for each shot: an iconic image, person or emotion and a classic Nars product. Seen in the book are such names as Marc Jacobs, Isabella Rossellini, Amber Valletta, Dayle Haddon, Naomi Campbell, Amanda Lepore, Daphne Guinness, François Vincentelli, Natasha Poly, Lisa Marie Smith, Olivier Theyskens, Carla Gugino, Shalom Harlow, Tyson Ballou and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
