This year marks the 15th anniversary of Francois Nars’ company, and to celebrate, NARS will be releasing a special book combining makeup and photography. Titled, “15×15″, the book showcases portraits of celebrities, fashion designers and the like, and transforms itssubjects into new personas. Two inspirations were given for each shot: an iconic image, person or emotion and a classic Nars product. Seen in the book are such names as Marc Jacobs, Isabella Rossellini, Amber Valletta, Dayle Haddon, Naomi Campbell, Amanda Lepore, Daphne Guinness, François Vincentelli, Natasha Poly, Lisa Marie Smith, Olivier Theyskens, Carla Gugino, Shalom Harlow, Tyson Ballou and Jennifer Jason Leigh. The book is published by Chandelier Creative and is due out in mid-November for 30 days only at 15×15project.com.

Next year, Louis Vuitton’s famous City Guide will turn ten years old, and for this occasion they will present five individual volumes devoted to five cities of the world: Mumbai, Miami, New York, Paris, and Tokyo. In 2009, the City Guide visits 32 European cities, including six new destinations: Bucharest, Glasgow, Lausanne, Manchester, Palermo and Saint-Tropez. The new City Guides will hit stores October 15th at Louis Vuitton stores and louisvuitton.com.
