Back in September, Alexander McQueen’s lawyers sent a Cease and Desist to Steve Madden for copying his Faithful bootie. However, Madden never responded, and the bootie is still for sale. You don’t really need a team of experts to tell you Madden totally ripped off McQueen. Madden has been doing this for a minute now with other big designers, and has been getting away with it, so why should he stop now? On the left is McQueen’s, and on the right is Madden’s boot. The only difference is the McQueen zipper pull is missing on Madden’s design. I’m sure the consumers are the happiest since they can get a cheaper version of McQueen’s boot.
