Calzedonia x Gisele Bündchen
Tags: ad campaign, Calzedonia

Repping Calzedonia’s 2009 swimwear collection is the best paid model in the biz, Gisele Bündchen. The Brazilian model has a perfect body, but for some reason the photos left me underwhelmed not to mention the collection too.

Nike Vandal Hi ‘Metallic Silver/Yellow’
Tags: Nike, Nike Vandal, sneakers

Seems lately, Nike has been keeping the ladies pleased with a fair share of sneaker selections for the Spring. However this latest metallic silver Vandal is not for me. The yellow laces are a nice touch, I just have a thing with silver shoes. If they’re your style, check out your local Nike retailer.

ELLE’s New Cover Goes ‘Natural’
Tags: Elle, magazines

The latest issue of French Vogue has a fold-out cover featuring the always lovely Monica Belucci, Sophie Marceau, and Eva Herzigova. So what’s the big deal you ask. Well, none of them are wearing make-up and none have been retouched (supposedly). They’re going the natural route in an effort to identify with average women. Where did they go wrong? For one, they chose three very beautiful women who would probably look amazing with a mud mask on their face, and two, well we are talking about Monica Belucci, Sophie Marceau, and Eva Herzigova after all. I’m not even sure why Elle chose to go this route. It’s not like they’re a monthly Dove publication…
Inside the magazine, others also go the no make-up route: Anne Parillaud, Charlotte Rampling, Chiara Mastroianni, and Karin Viard.

Marc by Marc Jacobs 2010 Summer Swimwear
Tags: Marc by Marc Jacobs, swimwear

I have to admit that some of the pieces from the Marc by Marc Jacobs 2010 Summer swimwear collection turned out a tad infantile for my taste, but all in all, I do like what I see. Miss Marc and starfish are present themes. My favourite is the bikini up top.

Polyvore #12
Spring is in the air, and we are loving every minute of it. So much so that I was on digital detox all weekend enjoying the warm breeze, budding trees, green grass, dogs in the park, and everything else that comes with this great season. Ok, now back to your regularly scheduled Polyvore program. While I was enjoying a beautiful Saturday, our reader Niki sent over this outfit. I need an iPod case just like that one so I can get my jog on:)

David Beckham for Motorola Aura
Tags: ad campaign, Motorola

Motorola once again spends a stupid amount of money on their latest campaign. Choosing hunka-hunka-burnin-love David Beckham a la Terminator isn’t the most creative ad we’ve ever seen, but seeing Becks with no shirt on is always a pleasure, so we’re not one to hate. Posh’s hubby is repping Motorola’s new Aura phone, which has a staggering price tag of $2000. He doesn’t do much in the ad, but then again, he’s doing what’s expected of him: look hot.
Check out the phone and a promo video after the jump.
