vogue paris 10 to 60 Eniko Mihalik: Aged 10 through 60

We’ve been hearing more and more about Hungarian model Eniko Mihalik. Besides the the cover of French Vogue we recently showed you, she also appears inside the issue as part of an interesting photo series showing images of her in ten-year intervals. The first as a 10-year-old child all the way until an elderly 60-year-old. Amazing what good make-up, lighting, hair, facial expressions, etc… are capable of.

Photography by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, and make up by Lisa Butler.

More after the jump.

The eyes have it! Wisdom and love shine forth – ageless and timeless! Beauty is enduring and has more to do with heart than face.

She looks most elegant and beautiful at 40 ans

Although these are quite striking, I take issue with age 60 being “elderly”.

This is a 60 year old with a face lift.

so why did she cut her hair when she reached 60?

That is amazing that those photos can be made. I think they went overboard from aging her from 50 to 60, though. And 10 looks like a teenaged Jodi Foster — not really 10. heheh. Still, it’s pretty amazing work.

It’s an interesting concept, and striking, but in the end it just reinforces the fact that what we really want our 60-year-olds to look like is a 20-year-old with a couple of wrinkles and gray hair painted on.
