Kate Moss is Golden
British artist, Marc Quinn went big this time. He decided why not go ahead and make a real-life statue of Kate Moss… in GOLD. Yes, that’s right, gold. It’s worth 1,5 million Pounds, and will be on display at the British Museum starting in October. Currently, this is the only image that has been revealed to the public. I can’t wait to see what the original looks like. This isn’t the first time Quinn has chosen Moss as the object of his work. In 2006, he made Sphinx, a statue of Moss poised in a Yoga position.

t.A.T.u x Marc Jacobs
It turns out that Marc Jacobs has chosen the t.A.T.u girls to be be the face for the Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter collection. Before you go and get all flabbergasted, relax. The ads will only be seen in Russia. Above is a video of the photo shoot. Phew, I got a little nervous for a second…
Dita von Teese x Wonderbra
Dita von Teese has gotten together with none other than Wonderbra. The haute-burlesque queen designed “vintage-esque pieces, inspired by old Hollywood glamour with a touch of Bettie Page.” The collection comes in three lines: Multi-Teese, Spot-Teese and Satin-Teese. There are panties and garter belts to top off the collection. Dita even invented a new quick-release clasp, which assist in removing the bras in a more timely manner. The collection releases in Europe on September 23rd.

Heidi Klum Designs Tee for the US Open
Heidi Klum has designed an official tee for this year’s US Open. The supermodel decked out the tee in a myriad of colours, butterflies, and tennis balls. The tee costs $40, a portion of the proceeds will go to Unisphere, the non-profit organization that maintains Flushing Meadows-Corona park, home to the US Open.

Karl Lagerfeld Teddy Bear by Steiff
Karl Lagerfeld has been recreated in teddy bear form. The ones to take on such a challenging feat is German brand, Steiff. The resemblance to the actual Karl is stunning! Well as far at the outfit goes anyhow. The teddy bear is limited to 2500, and releases in September at Neiman Marcus stores. They will go for a whopping $1500.

Crooks & Castles ‘08 Fall ‘8021′
Crooks & Castles have not forgotten about the ladies, and tomorrow they will release their 8021 Fall women’s tees. They used pretty much the same graphics we’ve seen on their men’s tees. The 8021 collection is exclusive to their LA flagship located at 8021 Melrose.

Claw Money x K2 Snowboards
I’ve never been much of a fan of winter sports, well, for that matter, winter has never been my season of choice, but for those of you girls who are into snowboarding I’m sure you’ll be delighted to know that Claw Money designed some snowboards and binding for K2. The snowboards cost $439.99 and the bindings $229.99. They have just released. Look for them at K2 stockists and online at www.k2snowboarding.com. If I had these goodies I might just be coaxed into hitting the slopes:)
