Karl Lagerfeld x Reflective Vest

No, you’re eyes do not deceive you. You are looking at the one and only Karl Lagerfeld in a reflective vest. The purpose of the campaign is to raise awareness of the importance of wearing a reflective vest at night in case your car breaks down. The slogan reads: “Yellow, ugly, it doesn’t match with anything, but it can save your life!” The campaign began last Wednesday, but unfortunately, only in France.

Nike Dunk ‘Alabaster/Sail/Charcoal/Zest’

Nike is once again looking out for the ladies with these new Dunk Highs. This ‘Alabaster/Sail/Charcoal/Zest’ version has a pretty neutral colourway, which would seem more suited for the fall. The summer is vibrant, colourful, and clothes and kicks should reflect that. I would definitely rock these though come September.

Betsey Johnson ‘Betseyville’ Bags

There aren’t too many things by Betsey Johnson that I don’t like. There’s just something about her creations that are so colourful, full of energy, that they always make me smile. And ever Betsey Johnson herself, the way she cartwheels her way down the runway amazes me at her age. Anyways, check out these new Betseyville bags. A whole bunch just arrived at Karmaloop. Here are three of them. Just look at the one on the far right. It’s so wrong it has to be right:)

Alexander McQueen x Puma ‘Celula’ Sandal

We’ve previously reported about the Alexander McQueen x Puma collaboration, but I’ve yet to visit the site to check out what they have to offer for women. I just did. I can’t say I found any of the shoes to my liking, but there was on particular sandal I highly recommend. It’s the Celula sandal, and it’s adorable. It comes in three colours: black, green, and gold. Check out the other two colours here.

Viktor & Rolf Dolls

Just yesterday I mentioned how those Fafinettes creeped me out. Well, it happened again. This time it’s these dolls by Viktor & Rolf. Here’s the story: The Barbican Art Gallery in London will be exhibiting the past 15 seasons of Viktor & Rolf’s collections. Dubbed, “The House of Viktor & Rolf”, the exhibit will not only display the actual garments, but will feature each piece on 55 miniature dolls using the exact same material, patterns, etc… There will even be a mini runway. Scary stuff if you ask me.

Marc Jacobs Video from 1987
Here’s a gem from way back in the day. Marc Jacobs sits atop a ladder talking about his new collection in 1987. Pay close attention to his hair, the music in the background, and especially what he has to say. Enjoy.
